An Interview with Plants and Stones

@Plants and Stones

Plants and Stones shared his journey from early VR technology in the 90s to AI art using Midjourney. Starting at the GMD's VisWiz institute, he worked with cutting-edge tech and relied on Russian scientific papers from the 1960s. After the Neuer Markt crash, he moved to a stable IT job in an insurance company.

In March, he discovered Midjourney and was fascinated by its potential, leading him to create emotionally compelling images with AI. He sees the computer as a universal toy, enhancing his creativity despite others' misunderstandings.

His approach to prompting involves quick, imaginative descriptions and learning from community tutorials. He is particularly excited about the potential of AI to depict new, innovative art forms.

Looking ahead, he plans to explore Stable Diffusion and audio tools like Suno and udio. He values connecting with diverse individuals for inspiration and believes that while AI democratizes art, true artistic success still relies on audience approval and support from the art community.
